This is an informative thread for selling ur phone to Quickr Company (under QuickrX guranteed purchase programme) rather than going for their exchange scheme or posting an ad on either olx/quickr inviting bids from local buyers .
This method has been personally tested by me and is a pilot project by the company
First Question why to sell phone directly to Quickr company rather than to some local buyers on Olx/Quickr
1)More often than not Quickr is providing an amazing resale value for the old phones . A 1.5 year old used Nexus 5 16GB black fetched me rs 9042 +250 paytm cash . Market rate is somewhere near 6 k to 7 k considering the plethora of devices on the market and the way cheap chinese brandsare flooding the country . Also the reglobe exchange part of amazon snapdeal provides merely 5600 that too for exchange
2) Quickr doesnt ask for anything apart from the phone and battery . Even charger is optional . So even though ur phone doesnt have a box, earphones and even no bill still it can be sold on Quickr platform
3) U dont have to hassle with the buyers and neither do u have to step out of your home . Even money is promptly credited to your bank account so no troubles . I refrained from posting the same earlier since i was awaiting my money before referring it to the community of dimers .
Also credits to @viSH bro for the quickr scanner app which is why i could finally find this option of only selling and increasing my resale value
Now how the process works
1) Firstly check whether quickr has a resale value for ur device . Open any product link in this url http://mumbai.quikr.com/QuikrX/Exchange-Mobile-... and check the exchange value . This value will increase after u run the quickrscanner app in 2nd step. ( In my case it increased from 7500 to 9000 for the same device after running quickr scanner app )
(Step 1 is for just knowing the approximate value of ur device. Then download the app app fro play store and proceed with the steps .U will see sell option for sure )
2) Download QuickrScanner App : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=c...

No app for windows phone devices and no app for ios ( yet to be validated )
3) Open it and it will prompt do you have an OTP for QuickrScanner click No . Now let quickr scanner app complete all the 20 tests. Do every test and if everything works perfectly ur device will get a score of 100/100 . A score of 70 and above gurantee a higher value .
3) Click Sell this phone through Quickr ( Quickr Guranteed Purchase )
4) It will prompt you to enter phone model and city .U will see the resale value for your desired phone now. On next page enter contact details and ur address
5) Ur order is placed and u will be given a Ref Id which u should note down . Immediately u will get a call for quickr cc asking u to confirm the order and the appointment time for inspection of phone . He will also give u a mail where u have to enter ur bank details and get it updated in their system
6) On the selected day either a QuickrX Representative / or a third party Inspection Team ( in my case from parcelled.in ) will come to your doorstep to collect the phone. First they run the Quickr Scanner Test Again and then a test from some Scanner app from parcelled.in . After these 2 tests they verify the screen display . If there is no Yellow ting or dead pixels in display and then will continue with the external checking of the device for damages/dents. Do note that this process is quite stringent and they look in detail at scratches . I had 2 really small cracks and they ignored the same but if they are large enough or the paint is faded or too many scraches the chances of rejection is high
7) Once all tests are done the phone is picked up packed properly and then it was shipped to the Quickr Mumbai Office . There was no confirmation apart from a sms message regarding the phone pickup
8) U can track the package on the logistics provider url and once it reaches the quickr office ur payment will be processed within 72 working hours .

When Quikr Guy Switched On My Mobile (After Putting Sim To Check Sim Slots) It Showed Bootloader Unlocked Warning. So He Said Unroot It, He Even Waited For 15-20 Minutes.
But It Was Taking Longer
So He Said He Will Come Tomorrow
SO i will just flash new hboot which will not show bootloader unlocked !

But Then TWRP Recovery Opened Accidentally (By Him)
lol, then i better go back to stock.
Only problem is that,i ran quikrscanner on android 5.1.1 and stock rom is 4.4.2 , will there be any problem?

No issues they don’t even know that apart from them the consumer can install and download the app.They were surprised I had qucikr scanner installed atleast

I applied to exchange program for my iphone 16gb to new iphone 16gb, exchange value was 765 rs only, i sent my phone to banglore to a friend and a representative came and verify, but representative reject my iphone because of yellow border (maybe dead pixel) and deny the exchange, now finally again i am with old phone

NOt able to find ASUS comapany among the list of brands. I wonder why asus isnt present when spice,vox.wespro,xolo lemon ,lava (smaller brands) are also there ?

Non removable doesn’t mean non replaceable .Huggo barra has himself shown a tear down video of redmi note 3 .Not that I say u should try it , but yes please remove misconception that non removable batteries have a draw back .U can easily get it fixed at any repair shop 3rd party or official service centre

It was not visible to me.. I was like do they want brand new phone?

Bro I already wanted to make sure so clearly mentioned that exterior and screen are two things they look really carefully at .Not their fault they sell these devices as quick certified refurbished devices which carry a 6 month warranty .And they have appointed logistics company parcelled.in to to do inspection .They would always maintain standards because they have to earn commissions from quickr .If they don’t check proeprly maybe quickr won’t renew contracts with them

Have reset everything to stock.No root,no custom recovery.No problem in phone.Perfect scratchless screen.
My body is rubberish and there is only 1 small un noticeable scratch n the rubber at the top.

See open quickr scanner app and if will prompt u do u have the otp .Select No and complete test .After that it will give option Either Sell phone through Quickr Guaranteed Purchase or See full results .Click Sell Phone and then it will open a page in ur broswer .
2 days back they were giving 8700 but today it was showing 8000 for 100/100 score. I cleared cache and data of scanner app and tried again and now it is giving me 94 score with red marks for battery and nfc and Rs. 7600 for sell I have checked 3 times now and it is showing 94/100 . what’s the problem

So now I tried to cool down my phone and tried again and it is showing now 8000 for 100/100. I have now booked the appointment for selling it

For NFC score will be 100 Even if it’s not working for battery they are reducing the score to 94. Recharge battery fully or reboot and then try again .For Nexus 5 16gb I got 9042 last week this week they are offering 10252. Even I lost then I should say right ? If ur offered price is desirable of device then please go ahead or else u have other mediums to sell the phone

I have a K3 Note, Last week it was giving 6899 for 100% score this week its giving 8499. Only problem is that phone has some very minor dents on the edges of back cover. They are so minor that only visible when carefully observed, will they accept it? I am ready to sell even if they reduce the price offered by 10% due to the dents. Do they reduce the price or just deny buying it? Would’ve tried myself but not living in any of the cities, so if they are accepting as per you guys’ experience, will send it to a friend.

Bro if minor dents not visible unless looked carefully u have a fair chance of getting ur phone sold .I advise u to atleast try and then then see if they accept .And yaa they don’t reduce prices and stuff they will either buy or not buy .

Yes someone on the thread was asked to unroot so flash stock lock the bootloader
My phone picked up today…i had flashed back to stock…although he did not check for root.
The manager of operations of parcelled.in had come to pick up package himself !
Checking and packing was done in 10-15 minutes,they ran the quikrscanner app and the parcelled scanner app….everything was fine…so it took less time…body was perfect too…
Anyways now that the phone is picked up and gone, there wont be any more checks right?
He said it will be delivered to quikr tomorrow !
