Settlement for Onecard

Hi Dimers,
I just got the onecard few weeks back and I was paying back for my first statement generated. It's due for 2nd Nov and I paid most of the amount today. I got the message back from Onecard that they have received the amount but it will take 3 working days to settle. What is the experience for user if they have ever been charged if the transaction is settled after the due date? Or is that just don't matter and payment receipt is the thing that matters most?

It will get settled on 2nd nov morning.
If not set alarm just before midnight of 2nd nov and pay using onecard app directly for Instant settlement.
