My mom and dad wanted a girl child. So they prayed a lot. First my brother came. After 3 years, along with the usual prayers, they added some bribery to God. All those money got wasted, when this "sence"less guy came to this world. So my parents gave up on the dreams of having a little girl. But my mom let my hair grow longer as a baby. You spend all those money, so you adjust with what you got.

Years passed, I am in 3rd standard, still rocking the long hair, even longer than the other girls in my class. For that year, we had a fun teacher, who dresses up kids on their birthday. So my birthday came up and you can already imagine what might have happened. She took out all her expertise and literally turned my face and hair to a little girl. You see, this was in early 90s and how am I supposed to know the difference between girls and boys at that age? So I kept all those decorations and reached home in the evening. According to my mom,that was one of her best days. I still remember how happy she was and my brother still make sure everyone knows about this story during the family get together.

Decades later, I still have long hair, longer than some ladies. Though the beard and moustache is there to make sure nobody gets confused about my gender.

Topped my school in 6th class but did not went to collect the prize because of introvert nature. I knew that i will be awarded for being the topper of my class but didnt knew this school topper thing because they have not awarded anyone before for that and never did that after that year. My parents went to that year annual function and told me that they have called my name several times to collect the award for school topper( that,s unusual because they should know that i am absent because they awarded class toppers first). The next day i went to collect my prize from office they only gave my prize of class topper and I came to know that they have given the school topper award to the guy who topped the 12th boards.The reason for calling my names several times during the ceremony because the 2nd ranker of my class had mistakenly collected my class topper prize so they thought that i was present and went somewhere. I still regret for not going school that day because my parents and i would have cherished it for life .

1) When i cleared the first step of NTSE exam. I was a lazy kid who used to study at the last moment and get average grades. The topper of our school used to clear this exam every year and i didn’t believe that i had the ability to compete with those kids. I was at my home when the results came. I was the only one to clear the exam from my school. As soon as i heard the result, i rushed to the top of my house and i was jumping and shouting. I can achieve thousand other things in my life but nothing will come close to the joy i felt after clearing this exam.

2) This one is a strange achievement. I used to watch seniors run and i wanted to win track and field races. I would start my practice few days (or 1-2 months) before annual athletic meets. And i always performed badly. I hardly won any race. I came at number 3 once. In 9th class, after having lost few racing events, i went ahead and participated in high jump. I had never practiced or even thought about high jump before. I ended up winning the event and eventually won at district level as well. It is strange because i am passionate about running only. I go for my daily runs even during lock-down as well. It is much more fun now because i don’t meet any human being or vehicle where i run and i get to see fireflies nowadays (i may not have seen them for many years).

Memories- From class 6 to 8. Playing book cricket and completely ignoring the teachers. Got beaten many times for the same.

Achievement- Scoring 87 out of 90 in History exam, probably in class 8 or something. ROFL.

Did all my homework after 4 pm in my school ground and after that came home take cricket bat and performance bad there as well

Getting late everyday

I had several. Gangster type also.

1) I loved a girl and she had several other friends, one day one of her guy friend told her that not to talk to me as i am bad, does this and that. She was a sensible girl, don’t give herd to any talk. So when I got to know that her friend talked about me. I told my friend telling that guy has talked bad thing about us. So the next day, he and some guys went outside his house and asked the club members of the guy they were finding know about. They said yes he lives here only. So my friends told them to call him, and infront everybody they slapped him so hard that his face was all red. Even club members were telling, you guys did nice. Came the next day, he with her mom came to the school with some bandages on, and in principal office called the girl about whats happening. Fuck me, we also had the exam same day, so that girl went and came up crying, I asked why is she crying. And told me of the issues I have created for her and she is suspended. Wtf,

lol. I laughed, and told her not to cry, I would go and talk to the principal, and suddenly I went downstairs. Entered the principal rooms, she start shouting without even listening a word. In an instance I got to knew, she would not hear anything, so told myself calmly listen and move on. She told me you are suspended for a week. I was like, what. Never been suspended, what will I tell to parents? Got strength to speak again to the principal, told her to take away her suspension as she has done nothing. She said, yes. I was relieved. The bigger thing in my mind was her. Took away her problem, which only I created. School got over. Went home. Showed my remark in the dairy without letting my mom read, told her some friends were having fun, and all got punishment. 3 days passed, and I went to school the fourth day, suspension was still on. But my mind was “AAJ PHIR KUCH TOOFANI KARTE HAI”. Comfortably went to the class, sat there. But few Noobs, tried telling the teacher, but I was teach

teachers favourite, so they overpower the words they heard. And then I broke two rules, kicked somebody, and went to school after being suspended. Those days are never coming back, live the fullest.

I go bck to 2011 whn I ws in 11th standard and my Final Term exam (80 marks) was gng on. I ws a bckbnchr thruout my life in school. We hd a gang though. Now during Term exams, our school scatters students in dfrnt rooms Roll no wise. In a room hardly 20-25 students were allotted and beside us used to sit dfrnt cls students so dat we don’t get to cheat at all. My class fellow was asked to sit right at the back of me and so on. So peeping and cheating is a difficult task. I ws alloted the first bench. It was a business studies exam on Friday at 1pm. Out of 80 marks, 60 marks was long Q&A. Dis subject needs mugging up points blah blah.. Dat time smartphone wasn’t popular and we hd sms pck and tipni phn.

We Bckbnchr guys didn’t study long Q&A and we hd a meeting the day b4. Plan ws simple exams start at 1pm which is the time for Friday prayers. 1 guy from each room will be waiting in the mini xerox shop. I and ot

I and other ppl will attend the exam on time and our task was to sms long questions to them. They will make copies of them and each guy will enter the exam room with those copies and then BOOM. We knew the guys cmng frm xerox shop wil be late for exams and we had plans for that as the Principal was a lady and Muslim too. We were Muslim as well.

Exam day came, we sent the questions anyhow. Each class use to have 3-4 teachers for guarding. The guys did the rest and came to school gate at 1:20pm. Gatekeeper stopped them and took them to the Principal ofc. The guys lied dat they went to offer Friday prayers and smhw cnvncd the Principal. They were allowed to sit for the exam with a note signed by the princi. I was so happy when the guy of my class came in and showed the receipt. He sat, comforted himself, cheated and then passed the xerox to the other one and his answer sheet to the other one. The whole class was copying this way and we passed with flying colors. Once a boy who had pre planned to do a prank by putting coat over the next person to enter the door.
He was in such a hurry that he by mistake put it over a senior student who was a Prefect in the school. And got beaten hard afterwards & even got a severe punishment.

Any chances to open schools till may end ?

When i entered 11th class the syllabus is completely changed by govt and it was too hard i
i was very upset how i can make a way to 12 by completing 11 board examination that is one of the fear memories i had for first 2 months
then i started loving class environment the best part is that in my class only 19 members so no tiny groups all are united. Because of less member we will arange benches attached to each other to make only 2 rows and empty place at the back we used to play several games . we’ve made several school properties broken and then we used to take that blame in all that was the one of the best memories
then the last memories is at the time of farewell we’ve broken the class camera thank god which has’nt activated and the principle said no farewell for you guys. At last we handed the broken camera to principle and celebrated the farewell. my 11 & 12 journey happened in the last 2 years
