Which system is better for a home – solar water heater or a on-grid solar panel system from which electricity can be generated and used for everything instead? Which saves more money and which is more reliable?

Obviously solar grid panel for round the clock use. Solar water heater is waste in summers unless you live in high altitude.

If u ask me the most reliable is nala gas, and equally reliable is the weed energy. I know someone who actually run his business with it and meanwhile saved tons of money

Connect solar panel to ups/battery and use in night also. Dont have much use of hot water in summer.
