I have a power of -4.5 in both of my eyes, and I recently got a new frame made for me since my previous glasses were with -4.0 power. Now, the new specs don't feel as comfortable as my previous ones. I can't complain now, since I am the one who chose this new frame (I simply tried it on for a few minutes, it was good then).
So, I was wondering if I could use my old specs at least when I work on my laptop so that discomfort doesn't distract me from my work. And then, I'll use my new specs whenever I'm off my laptop. Will this cause any problems for my eyes? Can't ask this to the eye specialist near me, he asks for 1K per appointment lol, and won't answer trivial questions.
P.S.: Both the previous and new glasses are tinted, so screens generally don't affect my eyes as much (that's what those shopkeepers tell me when they ask me to choose those types of glasses)
1st u need to find whats the power as your eyesight power is static & cannot have dynamic powers like both 4 & 4.5
new spec try 1 day & if not comfortable then change.
eyes are precious so forget past mistakes & do whats best even it means starting from scratch & spending a lot because its worth it
Thats a noticeable difference because of increase in powers.
-0.5 is not less when it comes to power and that's why you are having issues. Your eyes will take approx 7-10 days to get adjusted. and that is why Lenskart and Titan both offers upto 2 weeks for replacement.
At this point, I won't suggest you to keep using old specs because in this way your eyes never gonnna get adjusted to new specs.
Try to get your eye tested for free from Lenskart or Titan and see if there are any difference in powers or cylindrical power or in Axis.
