SC Manhattan is okay kind of card, good for offline super markets

If you shop from Dmart and other offline stores then yes , I have this card from last three years.

Nothing free is worth refusing.

But note that SC doesn’t offer LTF cards – even the base Platinum card has a 250 annual fee. So just figure out if the call you received was from an agent trying to meet his targets, and you don’t get hit with a free later.

Annual reversal is 1.2L..good for online or offline super market. 5% cashback clamping at Rs 500/-

Keep in mind also that Standard Chartered cards have probably the worst customer support in case of online frauds.

If you have a bike or 4 wheeler, see if their Titanium card suits you, they pay 4% CB + 1% gst reversal on fuel. Gives 5% on Utility bills, might be handy when all offers dry up.

I have this LTF for ages, so can’t confirm on the charges waiver aspect. And yes have read horrific stories about support, but I had always raised tickets in their internet banking and got resolutions.

I too received a call for a standard chartered card, but refused as they are not offering any card LTF.
Not worth with a fee.
