Personally I don't keep plants inside but i am aware of people keeping indoor plants like jade, aloevera etc inside for purification purposes.

Due to variable pollution level in delhi we have Mi air purifier. We use it until it purifies the air inside room and then switch it off. By this it doesn't hamper humidity of room. Valid for offices as well as homes.

Plant inside rest room would be suffering for plant. So please avoid.

Even before airfreshners, toilets/washrooms 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 really good exhaust fans FULLSTOP.

For office or hospitality environment... Kimberly-Clark Professional® and others have often been used by us in commercial establishments.
(The high-end solutions easily have the option of spraying the mist on their own at regular intervals.
Like if there is a large passage in a star hotel and one does not want it to be too gaudy, overbearing.. yet also be able to cover slight odour from carpet cleaning products et al.)

So those from the Kimberly-Clark Professional® series and other such brands.. there are decent options available for both, electronic/mechanised mist dispensers, ad also the passive ones with just the aroma/liquid in it.

oud/ oudh https://creedfragrances.co.uk/blogs/creed-journal/what-is-oud-perfume and audh based products (air freshners / incense) too are option, if genuine sources can be arranged and if the budget permits.

As others suggested, for certain environments and in certain spaces, some plants or flora might help 'to an extent'.
But that is a science onto itself. It needs specialised and/or dedicated care too.

From the run-of-the-mill products (for home use)
https://pgshop.in/ambipur Mood therapy (the waxy, gel-like ones) can be looked into.
Although they last okay, the strength of the perfume tends to fade away in the last week or so.
Also, procter and gamble have priced it too greedily.

For example, as compared to the likes of Godrej, Procter and Gamble, Dabur (Balsara sold the Odopic, Odonil, Odomos brands to Dabur).. those https://www.dmart.in/search?searchTerm=Meadows%2010gms small (10 gram) pouches of 'Meadows' are available for a pittance!
Even if ₹30 multiple by two and one puts two or three different fragrance pouches together, in a room/space
then too one gets adequate performance for more weeks than what the brand itself commits
and all this.. at a reasonable cost to consumer.
