My father in law is currently using iPhone SE 1st gen which has small screen and it is kinda ok for him. He needs to buy a bigger screen phone. He is not a heavy user and only uses phone for phone call and whatsapp and few apps. Nothing super important.
What android phone we can buy for him this BBD / Amazon sale? Please understand that he is coming from iPhone where he doesn't get ads and all and random popup or bloatware so in android too, we want to make sure it is not having bloatware.
Do not expect any sort of technical skills he can put and we cannot meet him always to make the phone work.
My wife has iPhone X and we are replacing it with iPhone 13 and would have gladly given him the iPhone X but its battery is very bad right now (73% health) and its ear speaker is kinda busted so I don't want to give him that. I understand it is not android but we could have tried.

I mean we don't have to worry much about bloatware and unnecessary and unwarranted notifications and such. He rarely goes to appstore unless he wants to deliberately download an app and existing apps are anyways auto updated.
