{Suggestion Needed} How can i utilize Gift Card balance of $ 290 from Amazon.com

Some Sellers In USA Can ShipTo India... By Default In Checkout Page U Will See Extra Payable Import Charges + Custom Duties ... These Duties Are Directly Paid To Customs By Amazon.... U Need To Provide Identity Proof Like Driving License Etc

Anything u buy to india from us will incur customs. There is no way to avoid it unless someone gets it for you while travelling

Apple watch only works with iPhone btw

No way to use them for buying stuff without paying import duty unless someone bringing them over from abroad with their flight baggage. Best option is to ask around for some friend/relative/contact in US willing to buy it from you at some discount maybe.

buy some ssd or electronic product if u want. many people bought in last month sales. surprisngly no custom or anything and shipping was $5

Importing one off stuff from US means you will be at mercy of the logistic provider and customer person. 

Not worth the headache

Better take something like Office 365 or which you can get over an email or let a friend use it in exchange of INR.

Amazon has a good control over indian customs. In my last order 2 years back they had added estimated import fees upfront. After receiving the item.. I had raised a concern about the import fees. They gave the import fees back as refund. 

I would say Amazon is way better than most websites shipping to India where I have no idea about the import cost and the postman asks for a random amount on which I have no control on.

Otherwise as I can see, they refund the import fees within 180 days.

Because 1. you are looking at listing of products which are shipping to India to your address, try changing to any address in US, you will get all results

2. Apple watch series 7 is discontinued by Apple and no longer listed on Apple official website/ Amazon.com . Even you won't be able to buy apple watch 7 in Indian Apple online store.

And yes Apple watches from US will work wil Indian iPhones

You could buy Spotify, Netflix, PlayStation, Xbox gift card and trade but yeah you'll lose a few percentage. If you have someone coming from USA now's a good time to get great deals for Black Friday on electronics. I purchased Kindle Paperwhite 5 years back at a steal back then.

What do you mean "they refund the import fees"? It needs to be borne by the customer (us) right
