Heard sundirect connection is on rental basis and after buying the connection the equipment is not ours. Anyone's using please explain it.

Equipment are Always on rental basis from any company, Company's are not taking back after you stop using product that's a different thing ( same As bank giving Cards As LTF with hope you might use in future )

If you stop using it i.e., not recharging, they won't charge any extra rent for your dth. I have resumed it after 1 year of non-usage and they didn't charge any.
