Superb VI Binge All Night Speed. 2211 GB used in 1 month

My VI Binge All Night Data usage from 1 April to 30 April. 12 AM to 6 AM – 2211 GB in 1 month.
It give around 50 mbps average speed. Around 80-90 GB daily in just 6 hours.
I have downloaded around 5-6 TB using 2 mobiles.
My HDDs are nearly full as well. On top of that data corruption in a WD My Passport 4TB but no SMART errors with less than 1 year of warranty left, 1 Reallocated Sector in a 4TB Toshiba Canvio Advanced less than a year old and 1 Current Pending Sector count in an internal notebook WD Blue 1TB with extended warranty expiring in 3 months.
I am thinking of replacing with SSDs. Unlike HDDs keeping a backup drive isn’t mandatory. So the effective price is halved. Plus the longer warranty period.

Vodafone is probably the best plan out there if the network in your area is good. My voda data is wasted cause of wifi.
Please don’t abuse the plan just cause it’s free at night. They’ll revert it. It’s not an achievement to use 1-2tb on 4g.
Small prob I face … Between 3pm-9pm it’s at lowest speed … Since I connect it as hotspot sometimes disconnect also happens… Any other time… It’s at very good speed in my place! No other network offers wt vi offers currently for data!

All Recharge of over 249 as mentioned on website. But dont try 399 plan. Didnot give me Binge offer. Use 249 for now, as last date for offer is 13 May. It may extend though.

I use PC for downloading over USB Teathering. I fix 4G band to either 01 or 41 which have best speed. Unselect other bands. Users saying slow speed in Day may try manual band selection to 01 or 41 (##3646633## for mtk). Already set IDM queue and torrent queue in day. Just start the queues at 12 AM and go back to sleep.
Obviously study material and 1080p / 4K movies hollywood bollywood movies and games. I have 2×5tb, 1×4tb, 1×2tb 2×1tb drives. So I just want to fill them during the offer. I can share if someone from Jaipur. Do DM me

Constant 33-40 Mbps on Vi night binge timing but can’t get over 100 GB a month 
My usage in pretty much limited but i like the concept of everything unlimited for a certain time limit.
Vi has done a very good job, this way download heavy users won’t jam the servers in day time.
Whats the scheme here? Do all vi users get free net at night?
Yup – 12 to 6 am, they won’t deduct a MB from your data balance.
Jio provides 2 GB daily data,
Vi provides 4 GB daily data + 6 hours truly unlimited night binge data (no data caps)

@shivrajsingh Doing anything excessive is not good. Don’t download unnecessary stuff just for the heck of it.
If everyone starts using like you, then Vi might end the offer abruptly.
You can get angry with me that who the hell are you to teach me but I am just requesting to you, nothing more than that.

No bro. I carry out my work as usual. I just make download queue in day. Takes 2-3 hours sufficient for 3-4 days downloading. Then start the queues in night and again go back to sleep.
But I agree on one point that it is not economical to download so much data on 4G due to:
1. Chances of network chip failure on mobile for overusing.
2. USB port will also get destroyed due to downloading 100GB each day using mobile teathering. Or wifi chip of mobile & laptop will spoil if downloading on wifi.
3. Speed is though very good like 30mbps at 12AM and like 60-70 mbps at 3-4 AM. Comparable to 50 MBPS fiber plan. Otherwise nobody should download huge data on 10-20 mbps speed because electricity bill will be more than amount saved by downloading on 4G.
4. Fiber plans have become really cheap like 500 PM for 3.3 TB . So its more or less same cost you download either way.
It just did not want to make permanent dependancy on Fiber , and it seemed possible to download vacant 7-8 TB hard disk space , so downloaded over 4g.
BTW VI speed is teriffic. I have not tried Airtel network, but its at least 5 times faster than JIO. VI is also expending some user base with this plan. I myself have permanently shifted 1 number from JIO to VI.
Stupid Vi didn’t allow recharging 399/555/599 via main balance. Had to settle for 449 again.
