Swiggy now charges Rs.5 as handling fee

Why not? At least better if they pass this onto delivery persons...

No issue. Not much fee.

Problem is they r not passing to riders, but yes additional charges required for survival

NATO & Swiggy after seeing the Dimers assemble -

For me swiggy charges Rs. 25 extra. 

Handling fees:- 4

Delivery fees:- 16

Long distance /high demand :- 5

Better question, how does someone manage swiggy one membership which in most cases ask for 749 for 3 months. Without swiggy one the delivery charges & surge fee itself will make even 24% discount look not so good.

I bought it at when it was 899 for year they gave me 1 months extra too.
So 13 months.

This is  the  reason.   Companies   Sellers   Brands  don't  need to answer mostly  there are people to prove  it right ok

I also had the same plan but once it is over the renewal fee shown was the usual 749 for 3 months so decided not to renew. Once 899 plan validity is over everyone will be moved to the new rate plan if decide to renew.

Is it for Instamart Or food delivery?

Atleast not for all. I have seen few restaurants where online and offline price is same.  Even 20% commision will b good. But here price difference is atleast 65%.

for instamart if you opt for "no bag delivery" there is no handling charge. The delivery person brings the items in a bag, similar to BBNow, and hands them over at your door
