what if i am on long duration pack

What happens to people with yearly pack?

I recharged in Nov.

What happens If I do nothing? Will the old pack continue? I am trying to get an answer in chat but they are just beating around the bush

what is the composition of the base pack? HD’s seems expensive now

I thought TataSky won’t agree to new plans.

Showing around 510 Rs for my pack( dhamal mix + dhamal mix hd)

My current plan costs me 210rs around. With similar channels pack costing me around 350+ now. Minimum plan 130 is killing the price changes now. Govt should make the mandatory base pack optional.

I think tatasky is providing DD + complimentary pack for free(no network fee). So we can select other paid and free channels upto 100 for network fee of 130 + gst. DD Channels and other complimentary channels won’t account for network fee..

TRAI new regulations turned out to be a disappointment for me. I was paying 207 rs per month to tata sky for make my pack. Now I am paying 269 for the same set of channels + 100 rubbish channels. Only some channels from the free channels are good rest is crap.

Is there a way that I can continue with old pack of mine?

Those who are worried about price hike should wait for sometime as TRAI has only decided MRP and soon broadcasters and DTH operators will compete themselves to bring prices lower. Before this new regime, they used to cost Rs.75 or 50 for Sports Channels and many other channels had lockin period which is done away now.

Initially your pack price will shoot but with time it is bound to come down. Those broadcasters who will get lower subscriptions will have no option then to reduce prices. Even NCF will be brought down under 100 with taxes. TRAI has fixed MRP. Ops and Broadcasters can provide their own cost. Zee already reduced from 45 to 39.

Star is the biggest looter with its packs and they will soon pay the price when not get much subscriptions. We don’t need every channel everyday and keep having fun along.

Mine seems to be down to 212 will additional channels.. Earlier I was paying 260 for Dhamaal Mix+Kid…

If you do not make your pack then it simply migrate your account to their recommended pack.

for eg.

I am using Dhamaal Pack + 3 months 99 HD access = 319 total

their new recommended pack for me which covers all my channels will cost me 505/- .

so if you do not choose anything then probably you will be given a recommended pack as per your previous pack with TataSky .

It has become costly now.
But i am happy because i can choose 3-4 channels which i watch mostly in HD without paying monthly rental hd fee
