My friend invited me to his church for a thanksgiving service, and I sat at the front row.
When it was time for offering, the offering basket was passed around. Despite the Priest ‘s call for good offering, I still hurriedly and secretly pulled out $1 from my pocket and dropped it. Just then, the person behind me tapped me on the shoulder and handed me a $100 note. I smiled, so generous. Then majestically, I looked around and put the $100 in the basket and passed it on. Then I turned and thanked the man seriously for being so generous. He replied "don’t mention’’ be more careful next time, it fell from your pocket" Whaaaat!!!!!???……." 😳😳😂😂😂

the light brownish house boat in the photo in the middl, right of 2 light green patches of the jetty is the place i actually stayed for 4 days while at Srinagar during the kargil war. will try and find the photos of that houseboat. I think the owners name I can recollect is Bashir.

I have not clicked it , its received from some1 else.
Incidentally I have also stayed in the house boat , whose owner is Bashir bhai, he has 2 sets one in the name of sikandra palace too.
We were at ghat no. 13-14 towards the fag end.

thanks…. I was their only guest in the entire houseboat because tourist assumed shelling will happen in srinagar. Also sent you photo of the houseboat interior which was meticulously done with carpets and handicraft. except for colour nothing seems changed
