Bulbs  tubelights fans other electronics all used to work for years  with guarantee  , then  came  warranty , and now even no value of warranty,  these greedy companies  charge so much  and make substandard products to last  little .

See how smartphones  are  downgraded in quality and further downgraded in  name  of updates

I've different brand's LED bulbs like Philips, Eveready, Wipro, Halmax, and a unknown chinese brand.

Most of them are working fine for years.

And if it got faulty, I got it fixed myself by removing the faulty LED. This is the most common fault with LEDs. And it's easily working for months/year.

Used to do the same. Used to repair several LED bulbs by sacrificing one defective bulb. - Remove all working LEDs from 1 bulb and replace LED of other defective bulbs with them. 😝

Bt, nw, just replace them as prices has reduced.
Purchase LED bulb in bulk during the offer and use them when require.
Availing warranty is really a headache so bulk purchase has no side effect.

Till date, max I have paid Rs.60-65 for Normal bulb (with 2 AA batteries) and Rs.99 for Smart bulb.

many are available on YouTube!!!
very easy, just remove the faulty LED and join it's both points using a soldering iron.
To find a faulty LED, use any Slant Tip Tweezer or one made using any hard metal wire, and touch both sides of LED.

saw this article... true ... so much failure rate in new bulbs!

Failures is common now in every electronic products- from cellphones to washing machines.

Even mega rich companies like samsung are into such malpractices.
