The recent update bricked FireStick!

Auto updates kese off kre ? New firestick 2021 me ?

I mean Amazon test bhi nahi karta kya khud ke at least 10 devices me before pushing the update ? 🙄

I have sent my fire stick to Amazon CTDI, and now they are asking 1500 for sending another refurbished fire stick. What should I do

Amazon Firestick 2nd Gen (bought in 2019)

While using Firestick, the page came automatically asking to wait for 10 minutes

and this fu*king process looks like a program loop 😒

After this issue happened? Why send it ? They will push a rollback of the update if possible or provide a free replacement for bricked devices.

Don't know exactly what happened, but it occurred 5-7 days back.
I got quite from them only today morning and now I have replied them to solve it through software and also highlighted this issue.
Will see what they reply and act accordingly.

My gen 3 and 4k firesticks working fine even after updates. Maybe they've already removed the bad update

They repair out of warranty Amazon devices.( Authorised Amazon Repairers)
Like Kindle, echo, fire stick etc.

they are in every city?if it is out of warranty then it will be very hard that they wont charge money.they will downgrade only but will make an excuse to charge money

I’ve 2 2nd gen, 3rd gen and 4k stick. Don’t wanna lose 2nd gen cause of update, any confirmation if its fixed or I should take pain and block the ota. Please guide. 

Ps: you can block ota updates via any dns app like adguard through which you can block wifi/internet to ota.apk etc.

Not available in every city, that's the problem.
I had to ship product to them for diagnosis.
I tried many shops in my city and none were able to repair.

They wanted us to update the hardware, so why they're giving buggy software update. This is so called modern marketing.
