Hey guys,

M thinking to transfer the entire limit from my simply click to sbi cb card, since after the devaluation I don't find it useful, also the Annual charges are there for both the cards and i don't think it is the good idea to pay for both cards.

Any suggestions?

Here is the trick :
If u have good cibil score then submit closure request with reason as annual fee in sbi app. You will get call from customer care, say because of annual fee I want to close and see if they offer LTF or you ask them.
They make cards ltf if you request on the basis of spending, repayments and credit card age. But don’t threat them to make ltf by threatening you will close it because in some cases they may make your card ltf, but in some cases they will close your card though. So, try at your own risk.

Keep in mind instant discount in sales won't work

Sales are the only thing which stopped me till now for closing this card. But now i think sales are also not good enough to pay the annual fee for this card.

So many devaluation happened, cleartrip they made useless, no rp on sales, so m confused tbh

Closed my sbi prime 2 days back after moving all its limit to my sbi simply click card.

Will downgrade simply click to some lower card as I don't need it other then maybe some sale offers.

I sent an email to the SBI team a few days ago, requesting to make my SBI card lifetime free after seeing a post on desidime. A card executive raised a service request for me, and today I followed up with them. They called me and informed me that my card is now lifetime free. When I asked them to send me an email confirmation, they said they couldn't do that but provided me with a request number. Should I trust them, or do I need to insist on getting an email confirmation?

Edit:got email confirmation...thanks
