Indian fintechs are revolutionising the investment landscape with amazing innovations every other day!
I recently came across one such innovation- Gold leasing.
As the name suggests, you lease your digital gold & get extra 4-5% gold every year as rental gains on top of annual gold returns.

Not sure if this is add , but i did my due diligence and I have invested 80k in this and indeed it is a good investment. The said investment beats SGB in 1-2 yrs period, however this should not be compared to mutual funds. The post written here looks sponsored content.I got in touch with an executive and he shared this below calculation sheet of this schemes comparion with sgb claiming 1 year break even with xyz assumptions, however i feel 2 year is a more relatistic time to break even.

Mutual funds are regulated by SEBI, SGB s have sovereign guarantee, digital gold is insured by the bullion company. All these carry some level of safety.
But this carries so much uncertainty and you need invest like 10, 15 grams upfront so not everyone can start investing right away.

1. How digital gold is working capital ?
2. One need to convert it to physical gold or cash to actually use which will loose its value
3. What if someone take digital gold and does not return? Who gaurantee that my gold is not lost?
