Hi dimers,
Since past few days, hppay app is not working with fastag.
I am getting "customer has opted out for fuel" error.
HP executives are not aware of the issue.
They are not even replying to my mails sent to [email protected]
Anyone faced same issue? Any resolution?

Seems issue is with IDFC fastag and not HPPAY. I have been using with ICICI fastag for months now and no issues faced

Fuel choice was marked as inactive in IDFC dashboard.
Changed to active. Now working fine.

Register yourself on Hppay. Then you can link IDFC or ICICI fastag for fuel purchase.
Scan Hppay QR at HP petrol station and pay using your fastag in hppay app.

I am using idfc for around 2 yrs I guess but didn't know that there is active/inactive choice for fuel.
used it on hppay flawlessly till I started getting this issue recently at the time of payment.

Never tried IOCL.
When asked one - two IOCL bunks in my town said ICICI fastag works only at HP 😆 (their view appears incorrect but why argue)
