(Resolved) Urgent: Mobile Bluetooth auto disconnect issue.

Hello Folks,
I am using max pro m1 and i recently bought boult audio airbass powerbuds when i am connected to my earbuds and talking to someone over a call the earbuds auto disconnects after sometime and again gets connected to my phone and this goes on and it’s pretty frustrating. This is happening mainly when the screen goes off. I am using 084 update on my 6gb model right now and i still haven’t rooted my phone. The moment the screen goes off the phone BT auto connects after few seconds and this goes on.

PS – I already tried clearing my cache in recovery mode and also did reset my network settings too.

Looks like there is some display/bluetooth/battery setting which needs to be unchecked so that i can use it properly.

I even tried connecting these buds to another Vivo smartphone but i didn’t face any issues there.

Any boult earbud users here can help me in a better way. I will still test these earbuds in other phones as well since i have the return window open for a couple of days.

Doesn’t look like this is settings related (something like Deep Battery Optimization for OP Phones) as the earbuds are getting auto-disconneted & getting connected again

When did this issue started? Usually some system/os update cause such issue. If it is from the beginning then you can try reverting to factory reset setting but this seems too much hassle just to figure out this issue.

Yes i went to developer options and searched for A2DP but this option is already checked and it’s freezed out for me as well which means i can’t make any changes here cry

Go to settings. Search battery optimization. Then again select battery optimization. On the top there is a drop down menu, select all apps. Then search bluetooth and click on it. Select don’t optimize.

Does the Bluetooth buds get auto connected even when your phone display is off?
Or do they auto connect only when the display is turned on?

Yes these buds get auto disconnected because my phone Bluetooth goes off and the moment the phone BT turns on the earbuds auto connect once again. confused

Just some wild guesses:
Launch music player in the background with a song playing connected to BT buds & then make a call from other phone to own number. The playing song should pause & you will receive the call, see if it works without issues now,

Install some call recording app & set it to auto record every call & then see if issue happens.

Try Installing Arogya Setu app and give all permissions. It won’t let system turn off the bluetooth ! #DigitalIndia

There was a app named Naptime and that had a option to disable BT when screen goes off so that was the victim here and this issue is now resolved.
Thank you for all your help folks and i am extremely sorry for the goof up which i made because i too forgot about this app which i had installed.

I am facing a weird issue on my vivo u10 phone. The ear buds are getting connected but when i play audio/music i am not able to hear anything (i have already turned on my volume for music and calls). This is only happening with this phone and earbuds are working perfectly fine on other mobile devices. I am able to hear audio when i make calls but no audio while i play music. I am not really able to understand what is the issue. It’s been more than 8 months i am using these earbuds on my vivo phone but never encountered something like this. Please help me if you can. Maybe headphone jack stuck issue. Check with Lesser Audio Switch app from Play Store. This was a common issue with Redmi Note 3. If jack replacement wasn’t an option one had to either flash a custom kernel with jackfix integrated or use the abovementioned app.

Check & disable any “equalizer/sound enhancer” setting in phone earphone/headphone options & any other music/gallery app too.

You have access to any other ”caps">TWS (via Friends/Family/Neighbors) so that you can test the same ? // The ear buds are getting connected but when i play audio/music i am not able to hear anything //

Anyways do post the screenshots of BT section with the device paired (+ Advanced settings tab where you can pair/unpair, select the usage), Sound tab under settings and Developer options?

Did you reset your tws?
If not reset it

Try using any other bluetooth earphone and check whether it’s working or not

Was it the option to turn off wifi and save data when screen goes off-save battery when device is locked? It would be in the power/battery section in save power and next would be ultra battery power saver…. There is an option last one says turn off Bluetooth in the Battery saver.. in the battery and performance setting..

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue with Boult Audio Freepods.
Even buds connecting/playing music. When I receive call / or dial.. getting " Power On".. Connected… Disconneted…Power On".. Connected… Disconneted…"
Mean while call disconnect from the other end caller. . rage rage
When I read above conversation.. I tried Developer Options.
When I am trying to Disable A2DP Option.. It is asking Reboot/Restart.
While after complete the reboot, the A2DP Option show enable again.
I tried several times. Still facing this issue. Is this issue about Android or Boult FreePods.

Seems like your issue is bit different. Trying resetting your bluetooth settings and your buds too. I had an battery saving app in my phone which was the culprit.
