I suggest MFs which invest in US/foreign bluechip companies instead of investing directly as that will result in much more hassle related to remittances, taxes & IT return.

I have no exp. in investing directly in US markets, however, I have invested some amount ( very small ) using MF which invest in US markets.

but as other dimers also pointed out, there might be easier alternatives like ETF or mutual fund.

Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 ETF (MOSt Shares NASDAQ 100) is good alternative.
