I want to use McAfee antivirus purchased in India while I stay in France.
Is there any way I can activate it in France?
I mean VPN or some other trick?

You can activate the antivirus in India and take it with you anywhere, If you are already in France and want to activate it try a vpn if the normal way does not work.
I never paid for antivirus as the free ones are great nowadays. Avast free edition is one of the highest-rated in independent tests.

Usually antivirus keys are region locked so a key purchased in India will likely not activate from a non-Indian IP but once activated it is no issue where you go afterwards. Ask your brother to buy windscribe vpn with Indian server location in build your own plan option which will cost him $2 for 1 month & then connect to windscribe Indian server in windscribe vpn setting & then activate the license.

Why do you even need a antivirus, Just use windows defender and don’t visit shady websites.
Other than this use a VPN it should work if its region locked
