I had the same confusion between all of them. Went with Grand Vitara/Hyryder.

Nothing can beat DSG, German cars are second to none except Tesla. Avoid kushaq, you will get many problems from dealer monopoly. Go for taigun.

elevate or nexon.

choose wisely

First list out Requirements and use case then only one can give recommendation out of these.

Germans looks good, drives better but need more maintenance and parts are not generally available outside.

If you like Honda elevate then buy this for peace of mind and good cvt transmission.

If you need all the features and modern interior then go for top variant Nexon petrol DCA  automatic , only thing to consider is service center reputation in your city.

elevate belongs to the next category though lacks in some essential features. If u need only reliability sorted suspension and space, only elevate to be considered.

Buy Skoda or vw if u want driving pleasure and german quality

buy nexon if u need  mix of both though not the best in both.

I would suggest to choose nexon or brezza or creta.

Because you have to check resale value and service cost and service availability.

After ford's exit its resale value falled like anything. We cannot expect skoda, volkswagen and honda will continue in india for longtime.

Its just my opinion

I won't go into pros and cons of each but out of these four, I will choose Nexon. Brezza is boring, Taigun looks weird (subjective) and has less features than the competition. Elevate again is boring and I don't think Honda is serious about Indian market and may go the Ford way.

Nexon is a fantastic and proven product, is hit with the masses, one of the safest, feature packed, has absolute best audio quality in the segment (argubly), looks good, rides well, is priced well and I won't have problem when the time comes to sell it.

Of course I will have to live with sub-par Tata service plus some fit and finish issues but at the end I will have a car that is comfortable and safe as well as powerful enough for my needs.

The latest Kia Seltos is very tempting!

Taigun, Kushaq if money is not a concern. Tata has reliability and quality issues like rusting. Service is a hit or miss too. Don't know much about Elevate.

What about Honda Elevate?

Elevate is a decent option -  reliable & fuss free ownership. Not the most powerful car but adequate for most. NA 1.5 engine translates to lesser vibration & NVH as compared to turbo. Resale not as good as Maruti/ Toyota.

Skoda/ VW - Best driving car in mid segment. Both engines have good power but 1.5 DSG is very powerful. Despite such power offers decent mileage. Cost cutting clearly visible - there were AC issues which have been solved to some extent, noise etc. Service slightly expensive compared to Maruti/Hyundai & not the best regardless of cost. Poor resale. Discounts on new car is an advantage & a negative - depends on your perspective.

Brezza/Vitara - 1.5L NA offers less vibration & NVH compared to turbo alternatives. Under powered on highway, decent for city use. Due to comparatively lesser power offers decent mileage. Great service - in terms of cost & reach. Brezza has more headroom than Vitara & Hyryder. Great resale value - both for Maruti & Toyota.

Seltos/Creta - Creta is slightly more spacious inside. Looks is upto buyers discretion. Major difference being the better suspension of Creta over Seltos. Obviously you should wait for new creta coming shortly if you decide for this option.

Previous generation brezza had 4 star safety, Creta 3 star, Skoda 5 star. 1.5L NA Creta & Elevate offer CVT gearbox which is a tried & tested technology in India. DCT/ DSG are quick but some questions have been raised about it's long term reliability in hot climate. It has worked decent in other hot countries. Torque converter in Maruti etc is also a reliable & proven gearbox in India.

I am also considering Honda Elevate  VX or Nexon DCT. Would really like your recommendations please.
