This is one of the big problem for water bodies ...
How to remove this any effective measure for this because it spreads too fast ....
Or any opinion you have for this ....
As this plant covers full water body and reduces oxygen so other creatures inside the water bodies gets affected..

Yeah it's a big headache like Carrot weed (Parthenium hysterophorus).To combat it you can use Herbicides, sieve it out of the pond or unleash Neochetina beetles as a biological control.

It grows heavily in Pune's rivers and completely blocks sunlight inside the water. Result is a disastrous decline in fish quantity and the entire ecosystem.
I have seen only mechanical ways of dealing with this like an excavator.
