From 🐕‍🦺canines 🐩 to humans! All relish it!

Well actually some dogs literally give a dirty look if daily they are given Parle-G.

Now I reduced white flour a lot from my intake, but previously 'Monaco' from the same company, has been my all time favourite biscuits in India.🙂

Long back, I checked the ingredients list of Parle-G.. after some offline behal amongst acquaintances.

Realised they put hardly one percent milk powder.. that too of skimmed milk.

Same is the case with Narayan Prasad Subedi owned company's 'doodh biscuit' and noodles (noodles they claim 8s made of whole flour/aata.. but has whiteflour/maida).

My folks often have that rusk, with my pops sometimes even munching on it for breakfast (if otherwise only having sprouts, fruits).

I do not drink tea, but otherwise: homemade 'mathri" or some such thing.

Infact the dried puffed rice/ poha chiwda/chuda (mixture) which has groundnuts, sesame (tilli), dried coconut and all those things.. that is another one of the homemade delicacies.

Now-a-days imported McVitie's HobNobs are rarely available and the desi packs are of hardly 12 or 18 biscuits (they pack them 8n individual packs of two biscuits each and put it in a small outer carton)

Since it is not a fast moving item, I only purchase is off-line after ensuring that the pack is not older than 30-40 days.

Sadly there is no specific batch number or markings on the actual inner packing of the locally marketed HobNobs for us to know the actual packing fate. So it is all in good faith only.
(Outer carton is even more flimsy than the cartons used to pack toothpaste tubes.)

Likewise! Beech mein kisi ne Jodhpur se 7-8 kilo gajar bhej di thi.
Pata hee nahin chala kab khatam ho gayi! Phir almost har doosre din jiomart se Amul chocolates!
Delivery person too was like: kha raha hai ya ped (tree) laga raha hai inke!
