They gave me free 1 month voucher 100mbps after not recharging for 2 years. But I don't wanna use it now.
I don't see any expiration date mentioned on voucher so is it valid forever or will it go away if I don't redeem right away?

Surprised that your connection wasn't disconnected after no recharge after so long. Jio deducted Rs 20 from talktime balance after 90 days of no recharge in my case.

Are there any installation charges for jio fiber prepaid? I heard that it's around 2500 rs ( 1000 refundable).
I have jio fiber postpaid right now, there were no installation charges because I paid for 6 month upfront. If prepaid connection is free, then I will terminate current postpaid plan and will apply for a new prepaid connection.
Also, is there any way to convert postpaid into prepaid.

As I remember it was 1500 without stb and 2500 with stb with 1 month free trial ....don't know current charges.

Not even 2.5 months after last recharge expired Jio has surprisingly credited a voucher for the 100Mbps pack into my account today. I had subscribed to the 30Mbps pack at the time of getting the connection. Two free vouchers have made up for the Rs 1000 non-refundable charges associated with a prepaid connection.

2yrs without recharge? Don't they simply disconnect connection after 6 months and collects router and set top box?

Is this charge refundable?
there is 1k installation charge which is non refundable other than that there will be a security deposit which will be refundable 500 for the router and 1k for stb i think. in return you get the 999 pack free for 1 month. so essentially its just refundable deposit which you pay. if you keep stb from previous connection then take just the router and you will still get 999 plan you can also get sone benifit by referring yourself. till few days ago the port guys were giving 50 days free plan under some ipl offer not sure if its still going on.
the prepaid connection is better in every way except that recharge can only be done via myjio app.
