I5 7gen with graphics card and ssd can do most of the works still.
You get cheap ethernet USB adapters
You get cheap Bluetooth USB adapters
Battery can be replaced, if always on power is not an option, or if you can DIY, just replace the Lithium ion batteries inside the Laptop battery.
Else, you can use the LCD display as a 2nd monitor and reuse the RAM and HDD on your new laptop
Thin cells, like smartphone ones, used in laptop batteries in the last few years offer no scope for DIY replacement AFAIK.
Can do without Bluetooth and ethernet Port if you have wifi. Spend 3500 and get manufacturers battery with warranty will last you for atleast two years.
The laptop has life still, it will be a waste to relegate it to nothingness.
If not willing to spring for a battery, can just always use connected to power source like a desktop.
resell
Use it as a emulator machine for retro games if you are into it or else a media hub.
Or use it for listening music (for you or your family members).
Thanks @N27 @sanghmitra5 @total_Fun
donating it to Nearby Govt school for their use.
