I hold an IDFCFIRST bank account with an AMB of Rs.25,000 but the features and benefits are not that attractive. Does this bank have any better savings accounts with the same or less AMB??

Let me try this too...Did you apply instantly after getting the card closure confirmation, or you waited for certain days to apply for the Wealth?? Not sure if this work for me too, but it doesn't hurt to try...

These suckers are telling me to send them ITR to upgrade to Wealth CC, even after having a Wealth account with them for like 3-4 years now & even after they had told me that if I use my Select card regularly for 6 months, I will get the upgrade offers to Wealth...

BTW, did you provide any other bank's card details there in the KYC process??

No benefit. Thinking of closing my IDFC Wealth account... They are not providing any LE to my current CC, nor upgrading to the Wealth CC even after maintaining high balance for like 3-4 years & doing continuous transactions on the First Select Card.

One year back, their phone support had told me to use the present CC regularly for 6 months & then I will get LE offers & also the offers to upgrade to the Wealth CC...

I am using the Select Card since last 1 year like they had suggested me, but not even a Single LE was provided, leave aside upgrading to Wealth CC...After calling them, they have the same answer, there is currently no offer sir.

Since yesterday, all my international transactions are getting declined & I am getting SMS of "PAN Not Available" LOL, even though I am using the same card since like last 4-5 years now & my PAN is properly updated in their records, which they are also confirming over the phone call, but they are unable to explain why transactions are getting declined.

Most crappy bank to park 5L-10L in the savings account.

I do have a senior citizen 25k account at IDFC, platinum debit card (can deposit cash in to their ATM any time of the day ) , No limit monthly to deposit & with draw CASH ,monthly sb interest credit (not quarterly). I do have say 5-6 lakhs FD with IDFC as a diversifed portofolio. Interest rates  are just above public sector but below Small Finance banks (all guaranteed by RBI up to 5 lakhs)

Talking about about lockers I have a 50% off in locker rent in Equitas bank branch (very near  to my home ) with a minimum balance of rs 5 lakhs premiun account. I do keep average balance much higher than that for getting 7.5% interest in sb (no TDS) as a resting place when I take a break from trading index etf/silver/natural gas/ crude oil etc.
IDFC top managent and Equitas top management originated from the same tree.

You can upgrade your account to any of the relationship programs for better benefits. There are certain criteria you will have to fulfill to be eligible. The wealth program is great but the criteria to upgrade is very high.
