Mitsubishi or Ogeneral are best

Try for O general inverter 

Daikin and LG in budget, try getting 1.5 ton, if wants to change later

Personally bought panasonic and carrier recently

If you own the place for installation, Window AC is best option

1. Mitsubishi Heavy ( There is other Mitsubishi brand as well..ensure Heavy is mentioned)

2. O general

3. Carrier ( Have bought 3 Acs since many years  and no issues till now)

Using daikin 1 ton inverter AC bought 1 yr back working good bought for 33k at croma

Buy a 5 star AC. It ll lightly load the grid. Your wires ll run cooler. You ll thank me in the long run.

Mitsubishi Electric. I suggest that instead of Mitsubishi Heavy cause their design is more modern, they have slightly more features and less pricy. 

We've had LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Hitachi ACs and out of those we had a readly bad experience with Panasonic.

Personally, I would rate Samsung (cost vs performace wise) > Mitsubishi > Hitachi (all three are currently in use at home and office) > LG.

For my own bedroom, I chose Samsung and I am satisfied with its performance.

Daikin is 2nd best company in India and 1st in the world. You can buy below model. Which is best.

bought 1 Ton 3 star sansui from vijay sales surat. 1 year warranty, 2 years extended purchased from one assist, 5 years on PCB , 10 yrs on compressor.

Voltas 5* ac . We have been using it since the past 5 years . 0 maintenance till now .

I felt Daikin is better than LG.

I have a carrier 1.2 ton 5 star(2020 Sept) and Daikin 1 ton 5 star(2022 May-Jun)

Believe me both of them are good.

But Daikin is super efficient considering 1 ton vs 1.2 ton. It's very light on load.

My mom who doesn't care about tech prefers Daikin by saying cooling is better. Both rooms are identical. Same floor and I am taking about night consumption only.

Go for Daikin.
