@mojo_jojo123 ... for peace of mind and safety point of view, IDFC First Bank gives decent interest rate for savings account
upto 5lacs/bank every bank is safe. u can do 2x5lac in 2 different banks for safety 3x5lac..and so on
As of now I see that RBL bank is giving the highest , they have flat rate applicable for balance above 1L , other banks give on incremental balance ..
@ 5.50% p.a. on balances > Rs. 1 lac up to Rs. 10 Lac and @ 4.25% p.a. on balances up to Rs. 1 Lac on a daily balance basis. These rates will apply on the entire balances > Rs. 1 Lac, as per the above slabs and the initial Rs. 1 Lac balance will earn interest at the rate of 4.25% p.a.
Always go for zero balance account.
Always go for bank which offers highest rewards in debit card.
Jana SFbank provides 7% above 1 lakh
@abhishek012 can you please guide any such bank with highest SAVINGS ACCOUNT interest (not FD) and offers Rupay Debit card (preferably without any fees, even with some MAB)
I think currently IDFC First, IndusInd, and Yes Bank all offer 4% on savings account, on amount below 1 lakh and higher above that. Could choose of these 3. Kotak has 3.5% but with auto-sweep/ActivMoney turned on above just 20K, they give 5.5% currently on amount above that (but remember to file 15G for any Term deposits automatically created as per of the sweep cycle).
