My viewpoint - D2H waale bade kameene hein. Bada top-up karte hi kuch bhi plan activate kar dete hein. 2 days back I topped up and they activated Watcho. When I contacted them they reverted back to my old plan but deducted 100₹ plus taxes. Then I contacted again, they said it will be added within 24 hrs but nothing happened. Saal mein ek baar toh apna kameenapan dikha hhi dete hein

Dth is a niche segment. Most people will just recharge without giving it much thought. There are not many offers for it nowadays anyway. It's us the penny pinchers who think about these things, this doesn't exactly warrant a seperate section, I guess.

I was the first in my area to get DTH when dishtv was the only option with 3-4k initial deposit for setupbox and 300-400₹/m. Don’t remember the year may be 2003 but everyone in my neighbourhood told me I’m stupid since during that time, local cable was ₹100-₹200/m.
Now, i’ve left DTH ( used Dishtv, Airtel, Tata Sky) in 2016 or 18. Everything is available on OTT, my family (oldies) took time to adjust but now when I tell them DTH is cheap, they simply ignore considering the ads and crap they see with DTH and no web series/movies as per their choice.
DTH doesn’t deserve any attention imo

Many people like me in tier 2 and tier 3 cities still using dth connections.
It still has mass market.
It's still growing slowly.
Big superstars like Shahrukh khan using tataplay.
Desidime should have dth related section separately to discuss and add information regarding channels and dth

Just take zing dth (box available for around 1000) and fit it into your current dth setup.

It's declining market. There should be proper section for entertainment related deals.(dth, Ott, BMS, etc).
