Why I'm receiving Otp on mail and Mobile from Karvy KRA ?

This is as per SEBI Circular to re validate KYC details submitted in demat account

I too received mail from Zerodha to verify at CVL KRA

Even In Icici Net Banking Login It Is Asking Re-Kyc To Continue Login, Document Upload Again Like Proof Of Address And Pan Card Pic And Our Head Latest Photo

I don't have any DEMAT account, why am I getting this OTP via mail and text?

I read in the news that Karvy was banned by sebi for 7 years. Are they still authorised to collect kyc

and reply by Groww but still i will not do this process, mine account is not new. why should i do

Theri licence has expired in 2017 so teh hacker is using this name as its already dead.

Same received mail as well as sms, have mutual funds from sbi,hdfc and others. Did not clicked on the link though.

Guys, looks like this is a new sophisticated scam. There are several typos in the email and the official website for Karvy is also different. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK OR ENTER THE OTP!!!!

I have received mail by krvy same typo conformation I didn't click on any link to enter otp what to do ?

Yes, I also noticed typo. But what if we click on the link and enter OTP 2 hours from receiving it, lets say. Any transactional otp expires after 15 minutes..

I mean, how they can misusing it..

I have entered the otp both on email and sms which i got!! Should i worry?? What can be done now ??

Its actually genuine website as no fraud detected when checked. All who are getting such emails n sms must have invested in mutual funds or have seller accounts on online websites or have pay later accounts

Got email and SMS for all members in the family.. Not on same day, but withing a span of 2-3 days.. To validate, there is a link of otpdelivery.cvlindia.com

If OP is talking about some other agency sending confirmation links, it could be a SCAM
