Why my credit limit for all credit cards stuck under 2 lakhs??

I am trying to increase my limit but from last 3 years my limit is stuck under 2 lakhs. I 've tried to send request for limit enhancement but still the limit is not increased.
I would like to know what determine credit card limit.

if u are salaried, try with income docs they will definitely increase

Use HDFC for high limit,
they give limit like crazy.

Is credit limit depending on salary or credit history? what about self business and non salary person holding credit card?

These are credit card limit, not salary. Stop running after them. .
Focus on salary. cc limit increment will come eventually
