. I have to give this account to my new employer till the end of this week. What should i do since IFSC code would be changed if i proceed to change home branch. In the app it is showing kyc pending but now from evening my debit card started reflecting.- Sort By

in HDFC account number is unique, IFSC is of no use - Branch told me and my exp too for many years
u can try transfer 10rs to yourHDFC+anyHDFC-IFSC
I want home branch to be of my nearest place which i can visit in need of some emergency. That why i haven't funded it yet. Just need clarification is it common practice of HDFC to show random branch as home branch or something wrong happened in my application. Also haven't received any welcome email from HDFC. Is closing this account and visiting nearest branch for physical account opening is an option? I read in their terms and conditions within 14 days of account opening one can close the account without any charges.
HDFC Bank savings max account online - If it's online account IFSC code shouldn't matter much i suppose...

I had that same branch too.. might be a placeholder. will be updated in a few days.
Let's assume the home service/branch is set as a wrong one due to whatever reasons.
1. Whatever you can do in your service/home branch, you can do it from any branch. What special transactions are you looking for?
2. Changing your service/home branch is a pretty simple process

HDFC shows first branch s Maharashtra only they update after few days
Let me decode it further hdfc's online accounts start with 50100, as you know first 3 digits are branch code so IFSC HDFC0000501 belongs to Mumbai Maharashtra Branch,
If you want an account number starting with your branch code don't open account online and don't take ready kit, apply through application form and you will get a different account number not starting with 50100
Thanks guys for your inputs, also wanted to know activating insta alerts email is sufficient or for better information alerts through sms is recommended? Also sms alerts are free or paid in savings max account?
Same.. but it got updated within 24hrs .. KYC status still shows pending.. what about you?
After how many days kit delivers to home??. Hdfc debit card is reflecting from yesterday and kyc status is pending.
