Using Many accounts on same Haptik account is not the reason of Account freezing.I did this too, but no freezing
I got the same message from amazon few days back regarding pay balance being freezed, any updates from you guys? got any resolution from amazon team? are your accounts back to normal?
I had chat with CC few dys back,… who said that they will frwd to concerned team…
But no update till now
It looks for my amazon prime account this issue started when I used one heptik account for 2 amazon pay balance payment. So guys please avoid using multiple amazon account on one heptik account. I have sent mail to customer care to unlock it. Lets see fingers crossed:-{
I am using same IP, same credit card for two accounts.
My two accounts also locked like this before one month. Today i had chat with CC they asked to add money it worked in one of the account , haven’t tried on the second account.
They said it is technical glitch.
Anyone still having this issue.?

In my main account there is auto reload enabled and today reload got failed and they refunded the money. I got mail later with below message
we have reviewed your Amazon Pay Balance account and found that you have one or more duplicated accounts.
The “Add Money” feature has been disabled from your Amazon Pay Balance account.
We took this action because, according to the Reserve Bank of India policies, only one Amazon Pay Balance account should be maintained per customer.
Note that the “Add Money” feature is available in one of your other accounts. You can continue using any available balance on your Amazon Pay Balance account associated to the email address [CUSTOMER EMAIL ADDRESS].
If you want to continue using “add money” in the account associated to this email address, reply to this message with your request
When I try to add money no error coming till OTP but did’t tried further and sent mail to customer care to enable add money feature.
Anything to worry about account blocking or can I call customer care or can I continue without any worry.
Edit : I tried to add 1000 Rs and it got success. Not sure if anything to worry.
the wording of that message is totally misleading.
Amazon Pay balance and Amazon Pay India (P) Limited are both different.
RBI does not have a say on the complete APAY balance, but only on what they call “Amazon Money”.
Amazon Pay balance is sum total of “Gifts and Credits” and “Stored Value Account” (Amazon Money)
Amazon Pay balance (with only gift credits) existed even before 2016.

your Gifts and Credits part of Amazon Pay balance isn’t regulates by KYC
only the Amazon Money (Stored Value) account can be regulated by Amazon Pay India Limited.
but since you can use the Amazon Money balance, add money and transact with it, means that the account status is "Active’.
mostly they pasted the same error code/ e-mail response for 2-3 different errors and thus you got the e-mail.
if your KYC phone number and documents are different on different accounts then you do not hold multiple accounts with Amazon Pay India Private Limited (separate company).
so nothing to worry, except call, email their dedicated helpline and give it to you in writing about what specific sections of which law or circular has those points
and which other account of yours is in use as per them.
also let them know that they themselves breaking RBI diktat, by not providing Nidal Officer’s numbers on the site. (the only give the helpline number for Nodal officer too).
