YU Yuphoria YU5010 (Buffed Steel, 16GB) best in 7000 range or any other better than this? Need suggestion. Thx.

better go with Redmi 2 Prime. Many issues with this phone and also many things missing.

xiaomi is only company which not void warranty after rooting infact they provide you rooting tutorials ,post & files necessary for rooting

You will get root+unroot files for all MI phones and it takes less than 30 seconds to unroot and get OTA updates.

A physical service center is lot more better than a virtual one where you give your device after problem and get refurbished devices in return. That’s what YU doing.

Anyways having Cyanogenmod on your phone is no rocket science and it doesn’t really make your device extra ordinary cos at core it’s all the same. And MI phones have 10 times better Dev support than YU phones. You can also install Cyanogenmod on your MI phones if you like.

I will suggest to go for MI Redmi 2 Prime and buy only from Amazon using 5% discount offer from Woohoo https://www.woohoo.in/amazon-in-e-gif...rd
Amazon’s return policy is very user friendly and that’s the reason I am suggesting Amazon.
Flipkart is a big headache now when it comes to return and replacement.

Redmi Note 4G for Rs 7999 was the best phone below 10k mark but sadly that’s not available anymore. Only unboxed or refurbished ones you will get online for 6500-6999 with 6 months MI warranty.

My suggestion MI Note 4g if you get or else Redmi 2 Prime.

My yuphoria has been good. I agree there is some heating issue but other than that it’s bang for the buck. Redmi prime will die without future Android updates from xiaomi. Yuphoria will receive update to l and even future Cm versions.

now every district level city has got physical service center for yuphoria, check on their website list of service center

i also bought new phone yesterday ,i bought REDMI 2 prime.i will recommend you to use tempered glass ,though it broke very easily but you could get it at 150 from local store~Little higher than screen guard.tempered glass not get scratches early & it also protect your screen from breaking due to accidental fall
i will recommend you to use any hard case (soft case look cheaper ),hard case weight should not be heavy & thick(check by yr own ,physically )& not use metal back covers as they heat up very fastly~in summary a light weight case which is not slippy

btw who told you that you won’t get OTG support after rooting? Actually Redmi 2 prime supports it even unrooted or rooted. But the fact is that Yuphoria Doesn’t have OTG support either way.
