Yes, someone here used it to pay off insurance on his birthday and got 10% cashback for it.
Marketed as LTF but it’s FYF only

That cashback will be credited as edition cash which can only be redeemed on Zomato

Any upper limit for this 10% spend on insurance

No limit is specified. Also this person received a generous cashback exceeding 10K, so I don’t think there is a limit…yet. Might be removed if abused. Only thing is that the cashback can only be used on Zomato. Lots of orders to exhaust wallet exceeding 10K.

I was planning to discontinue making an insurance payment of 1.5L+ this year..if they’re giving 10% even if it’s in the form of Zomato cash i think it’ll be worth it

Yep, depends on your needs and spending patterns. If your birthday is coming up, best use it before they’ve the chance to yank it.

Yes but apply card option not showing in my Zomato app even though I’m pro plus member

Ah you don’t actually have the card yet. Keep looking, Zomato is actively enabling the option to users. Hopefully you’ll get it soon.
Spooky… Is it LTF for some and paid/FYF for others?
What’s the catch?

I don’t think they will be able to defend their point.
Most subscribers would definitely have saved the offer screenshots (LTF). If sufficient number of subscriber press them threatening with some sort of legal actions (consumer Forum etc.), they will budge.
In these sort of scenarios, writing coordinated emails (with very similar titles & contents) to Principal nodal officer might bring them to senses.
Chances of success is higher in this particular case, as a brands like zomato is also involved in circulating the offer.
Make a mass petition to zomato, informing them that their banking partner is not honoring their offer. Eventhough RBL has one of the most stubborn customer care system, they will yield under corporate pressure. Force zomato to pitch your case by stoking up their brand image ego.

what was your final opinion? Can see zomato edition replied that this is LTF for you on twitter
Can it be that only selective customers who are seeing the offer in zomato is having this as LTF, and RBL bank when contacted is answering about regular fees for all ?
