@admin @bumblefoot site was down for more than 5 minutes. Happened twice in 48 hours. (Previously, it was less than a minute). In peak hours, this experience is unpleasant.

Oh god, I was scared because desidime is now a part of life and started imagining what will I do all day.

Exactly, unpleasant and scary. Becaus of cyber threat. Hope desidime has a rock solid firewall and security.

Routinely happens when server migration or rollout of new (features) site or issues from Cloudflare/ other security gateways.
.
.
Yes, there are page down or server not available errors happening on and off.
But those will iron out once that said procedures are completed.
.
There is precious little from the user end to be done here.
.
.
@admin @bumblefoot @anthrax.ut Kindly look at the feasibility of moving this out if Dost and Dimes.

Itna tension tou hum apne bank site ka bhi nahin lete.
(The bank/s, demat depository, broker sites where most of our funds, other investments are there. I meant)

@guest_999 Pre-Cloudflare era, I think
one of their DRS was in Singapore or perhaps somewhere close to Hongkong.
Practically all modern sites hosted on specific services/companies or using technologies like anti-DDoS/ CloudFlare type products.. automatically have more than one Disaster Recovery Site for the key data.
Offline mirroring of crucial infrastructure, data too is viable if the scale of operations and criticality of data makes it so.
But even as (storage) costs per MB have come down, there is little to no practical business disruption level threat to Parity Cube Limited/ promoter companies of the forum.. to be fanatical about the topics under the discussions or non deal.sections.
Thus, offline DRS for non deals topics might become unviable based on price: need/utility payoff.
i thought i got banned 🤪 also my post arent getting approved so i thought my time here is over 🤣
Yes, all pages 404 for about 10minutes...

The two links you posted about NSE stocks, how is it connected to my commentwhat you want to highlight from these links
Those links do not point to any comment about NSE stocks, please do check again.
.
What I want to highlight is that during new version rollouts, feature rollouts, site migration or other backed technical issues.. such things (as faced by you, others) do happen and
have happened in the past too.
(Those links/ posts are for reference sake.
OR
As empirical evidence to substantiate the same.)
.
Initially, on the non live site (not live for the common users).. the new rollouts are tested/ simulated for a couple of weeks and then released to the general public.
.
And during such RTM/ Release to the masses, if during peak load or otherwise.. the traffic is dynamically routed to multiple servers.. such glitches happen.
(Like how if we access yahoomail.com, googlemail.com from all across the world.. not all users end up querying the same physical server.
May be something like that.. use of mirror sites/servers and dynamic load balancing issues during new feature / version rollout.. could throw up such issues.)

That is understandable.
But at peak time normaly it's avoided. Every update of servers, new features like banks they always update at midnight. Although no point of argument as the actual reason for downtime is not known.
