This time its bigger and more Dimers will get a chance to win prizes.
How it works
We are going to have total 4 contests (1 Main & 3 mini contests)
Main Contest
Daily we will ask you questions related to matches and you have to predict them correctly & accumulate points. End of the contest top 50 Dimers who has highest points, will win the prize.
For every match we will ask 2 questions. Out of which 1 will be free (Everyone can answer) & 1 will be paid (One can answer via using Gold Dime)
3 Mini ContestWe will have 3 mini contest as follows
Contest 1 – 1st – 16th Match
Contest 2 – 17th – 32nd Match
Contest 3 – 33rd – 48th Match
Here format of questions remains same as main contest but every mini contest will end at 16th, 32nd & 48th Match. So everyone can win upto 4 times during the contest and at any given day there will be two contest running (1 main & 1 mini) simultaneously.

Seems like 1st prize is cut down to introduce mini contest. Mini contest is good for those who have less gold dimes and dimes.
The gap of points awarded between free and paid questions should be decreased.
1 point for free vs 40 points for paid is too big and discourages newbies to participate.

@bumblefoot also make sure person making questions know who all will be playing. Also keep questions on no balls, wide, leg byes, score during powerplay, number of run outs, number of catches, number of catches and stumping by keeper, number of maidens in match, worst economy rate in between a range, most wickets by bowler in a range…

On a serious note, i think thats done intentionally to judge somewhat of cricketing knowledge
First prize should have been something big that would have made this contest very attractive to participate and thus create high buzz within dimer community. A great electronic gadget or some high end product from other shopping segments would’ve been ideal. Because if you get 2500/500/500/500 or gold dimes after playing 2 months of IPL Or 1 & half month of such a masterpiece event of Cricket World Cup, it does feel like the time and energy/enthusiasm/involvement invested wasn’t worth it.
#I think once in a 4 year world event does require a faboulous prize for the topscorer, may be not for the others, to make it special & sporadic.
