I’ll start, as an example, and just for fun :lol;
Sports:
When I have a weekoff from work and think today I will sleep in late, I do.. and get up at around 1-2 in the afternoon and as soon as I get up my mom will say good afternoon as a gentle taunt, asking if I plan to sleep all day and then tells me we are going to play badminton in 2 hours and I then we both end up playing badminton at around 5 – 5:30 and I feel a bit awkward at times since all the small kids around are playing and we are the only adults, my mom will become a kid again laughing every 1 out of 10 times I let her score a point thinking she beat me but that loss, is worth the smile, the laugh

Jewelry:
I am not that much of a gold or jewelry hoarding type of guy, but there are times my mom has asked me to invest in gold for my sister’s and I tell here there will be a 10% offer on Gold on Flipkart for HDFC or PayTM Gold offers. This topic mainly comes out during wedding times, especially if we are going for an East Indian wedding then she will get all her jewelry out and decide what to wear, and it feels funny to me cause I don’t really care about what I wear but to look presentable, but these females spend alot of time to get ready and all Any females of DesiDime care to rebut to this comment ?

Outdoor Activities:
My Dad plans a random holiday once a year atleast for the family, this event is something my mom is always super excited for and looks forward to through the year we go to different places every year, south, north. I seen my mom super excited to ride horses and camels, walk on sandy beaches, she won’t want to stay in the hotel to relax, she will want to go out, see the sights, religious places, etc. During these vacations my parents are both less strict and have a more positive outlook to life during outings, they are in a good mood and less of a perfectionist. I know a few years down the line I will regret missing the trips I have due to work or college (further studies), so gotta make the most of it now

Food:
My father is a soldier in bsf he gets holidays rarely he lives far from us we meet him rarely he come for 2 days in 2 or 3 months.So we meet him rarely and so when ever we meet him we want to make it special.So after a long wait when he was back we planned for a dine in restaurant we went there ate the food and at the time of paying the bill we found the pocket absent …unluckily we were having phone dead too we were tensed My father tried to convince the restaurant manager but he didn’t hear him….We thought that we must now wash the plates only Then my mom found her friend there she was the wife of the restaurant manager they talked and my mom said that she will pay her later…. ohh we got relieved and also saved from washing plates…That day which we wanted to make special could have become the worse in absence of my mom ………My mom saved us we can’t imagine what would be our condition if mom use to not find her friend #MERIMOMZINDABAD

Jewellery:
Lucky that I have experience of my mom with jewellery too
One day my mom went to a jewellery shop to buy ornaments for her we went and as common it took her almost 5hrs to choose and finally come up with a ornament of her choice…It was costing 50000 we were in Mumbai where we actually don’t live in we went for a tour there she liked the ornament toooo much she wanted to buy it but we were not having cash at that moment we were lacking 7000 then I said to leave the jewellery we can buy from other place but my mom didn’t agree she struck to buy it even after an hour we didn’t find a solution but then my mother asked the jewellery that is he on Amazon and for my utter astonishment he was on Amazon and what next my mom asked him his number and when we reached our original residence she called him and said to upload that product on Amazon he uploaded and then we bought it on cod end of the day we got it safe and even we got 200rs cash back too at the end of the day she got her ornament and the jeweller got his amount

I dont think this story will belong to any category during the contest..but here it goes..

It was a rainy day, I was busy doing nothing as I was unemployed and broke.My mom was super busy coz some important guests were gonna come to our house for dinner. Mom asked me to keep a watch on the boiling milk coz she planned to serve the guests Tea first, meanwhile several other stuff was also being cooked.She warned me like 100 times to keep a watch on the milk coz she was multitasking furiously and she was a bit late,the guests were to arrive soon, I repeatedly kept saying without looking at the milk..dont worry mom.. I’ll look before the milk. I even shouted on her once as i got annoyed due to her constant reminders.Few minutes later the guests arrived and Mom went into the our hall to welcome them.I was getting bored and started watching GOT episodes which i had missed.While admiring Sansa Stark’s beauty..i totally forgot about the damn milk. Needless to say..it got spilled all over the

gas stove. I said to myself..today is the last day of my pathetic life. Mom returned to the kitchen after a few minutes and saw the whole mess.I said laughingly"sorry maa..bhul gaya". To my surprise..she didn’t say a single word. Very calmly she came near me and whispered, "koi bat nhi beta, tu bahot chhota tha na..tabhi bahot bimar tha..Hospital leke gaye the tuze..7 din tak waha pe hi admit kiya tha tuze..ab kabhi kabhi aisa lagta hai..WAHI PE BHUL KE AA JANA CHAHIYE THA TUZE.

Sports:
My mom is an all rounder even in the house but also in sports
Daily morning she wakes me at 5 we plan for 430 but for all get up at 5 play tennis..We play actually in a space in floor of our apartment I mean there are 6 houses and there is a rectangular space between all the houses..On one unusual day we both were playing tennis and while playing we broke one aunty’s window luckily she was sleeping and she didn’t here it I pulled my mother and ran into my home…The time she woke and saw the window broken she started shouting she called the whole apartment out everyone got disturbed and at that situation I was unable to say to them that I did it I even stopped my mom from saying it at that time but still she went bravely in front of them and said aunty the truth we had a drama and at final we paid her for the window still she was unhappy as we didn’t tell her before she shouted on me I said sorry to her but she didnt here to me and then my mom tried to convince her for a week and then she got normal and I and my mom got relieved after that day we now got to stadium to play tennis and stopped playing in middle of floor…..

Food:
I love food and became hungry everytime in childhood times.Once we gone to hotel and i ordered many junk food items.My mother warned me many times
Beta don’t take that junk food.Eat some fresh healthy food.But I ignored her and eaten lot of junk food that day.
That night my stomach pained and i feel i had made mistakes by ignoring my mother
Then I straightly go to my mother and told her sorry for ignoring her.
My mother given me eno and other gharelu ilaaz which feel me relief
From that incident I hadn’t ignored my mother and done everything which she adviced me.
Jewellery:
I remember the first gift 🎁 i given to my mother.
That were just bangles
When i shown them to mother she felt so much happy that i had given surprise gift to her
Though the gift given by me was very small but they way she excited by gift and thAnked me and told to all my family members that her son had gifted her bangles.
All family members seem nothing special in that gift.But my mother was very happy and i also feel happy by seeing happy face of my mother
