Airtel First 1 GB 1498 rs then 51 rs/GB (unlimited recharge) for 12 Month – Userlocking Strategy
Airtel in fear of losing users, so they launched new plan of 1 GB 4G 1498 rs with 30 days validity, with 12 month grace period – in that 12 month user can recharge many times of 51 rs /GB 4G..
So users locked for 1 years as they recharged 1498 and forced to use only Airtel

Offtopic:
Already 1199 rs plan for 1 GB 4g with 30 days validity and unlimited calls
So now Airtel is mad and they want to grab users but there plans are higher than 1000 rs, so they’re targetting high paying users, but high paying users are more keen about reliance and most are satisfied with relaince preview offer.
Also Airtel is not able to reach from Relaince jio and users are now complaining Airtel for intentionally doing this, this highly damage Airtel Brand name already….now costliest plans

Come 15 September and I will port out from Airtel. With this they cannot stop me now
i also planned to port out Airtel ro relaince and will kepp Idea or vodafone as second number,
In Airtel, NO OFFER for recharges already…
Still i feel Bsnl 3g is unlimited 1099 plan is better than Airtel userlocking plans
Idea is worst among teleco’s blocking calls from Jio in my experience. Airtel and vodafone are also blocking calls from jio ‘many times’, but this idea is blocking ‘every time’.
Funniest thing is the way they are marketing this new plan – Airtel cuts data prices by 80%. ROFL.
one month charges Rs 126+ Rs 51/GB. not so good offer.

this is something like, we pay for 30paise per minute booster pack, but everyday first 2 minutes in normal price apply, then what is the role of booster pack..?? they’re fooling us with this type of plans….
Worst ever plan by any telecom operator.
They just want to lock customers anyhow seeing Jio’s great success
If they really wanted customers to enjoy data packs then directly they would hav launched packs starting from 51₹
But as you all know Chortel is famous for looting and creating problems for customers.
Only their ads have happy customers not in reality
Soon Airtel would Shut down or may be sold to any other company!

Yeah, i have a Received a sms of calling pack with no info about first two minutes… after recharge they sent message anout first two minutes!
what a easy way to fool people by airtel!
chortel thinks people are fools to get locked up for 1yr with this offer
Pity sunil mittal
If Jio can maintain good quality after launch then there are huge number of users to move.
May be even millions!

na nothing like that. Data balance and Talktime should be over by then.
Part of their JEENE DO initiative
Atleast idea is straight forward in decreasing data tariffs. They keep on spamming with 2GB@199 offer all the time

Before airtel announced the seperate data pack for whatsapp and OTA apps like skype, viber and all…that day got more than 1 lakhs port out in Airtel in single day, like that once reliance announce MNP , more than 10 lakhs people port out in first day…
Due to that much MNP requests airtel withdrawed the plan in less than week i think, now real competitor is there, if still Airtel come with mad plans means, no one will use Airtel
All hail #MNP
Data sharing not available in this plan.. n also night cashback not included….

Airtel and voda may merge to compete with JIO.
and also this is not good sign because now JIO looks good compare to others but this will create monopoly in telecom and after some time surely JIO will increase prices and we dont have any other option at that time. what relinace do is business not charity .
airtel vodafone can not merge ever they are old time enemies kind of
infact no big player will merge with airtel
now airtel and rjio are big rivals of other telcos
i think voda and idea were announcing merger
rest all are small players according to market share

Though I have been using an Employee SIM for the last few months but it’s just a matter of time, all these operators would eventually join hands behind the door.

The millions that have joined in have created havoc on their network. Just open cmd and ping a server see how much data is lost. I am unable to play Slither since last few days coz of data loss.

i am sure reliance will tweak and impove or mainain qulaity, because they pumped loads of money, to grab that much investment they need time, so maintaining qulaity is the only option with low pricing..

QoS doesn’t mean anything to them or any telecom provider. Their scale of service is Download speeds and just that. 4G latency should be near 50ms or less but Rjio latencies hover around 100ms. This is acceptable for 3G not for 4G. Data packet loss is high too but who cares? But this is bound to happen as the number of users increase. More users>More congestion>More data loss and poor latencies>Poor service.
Come 15 September and I will port out from Airtel. With this they cannot stop me now
