I’m on airtel postpaid and it just seems stupid to stick with postpaid now, prepaid has such good offers. Planning to switch to prepaid, any idea if I can switch and recharge with this plan?
Postpaid offers are not attractive….

Everyone started complaining about every network. But you must all thank jio for making a new innovative entry as till date other network robbed us by charging rs.300 for 1gb 3g data

Ya I’ll never leave them being their loyal customer. Lets not forget this jio gave us all the taste of unlimited internet i’ll never leave them no matter what ever offer other companies are giving still I will show my loyality for jio, everyone should do the same, dont lure over cheap offers of other companies bcoz if jio starts looses customers these companies business will again start prospering and so will their cheap monopoly.

Airtel 2g/3g coverage at my place is awesome than any other operators but also costlier than others. And 4g is cheaper than 3g but speed and reliability is worst than 2g both indoor and outdoor.
All those complaining about Airtel network, please post your phone models too. I recently switched to Airtel from Vodafone and I am facing above mentioned issues only in Redmi note 4. When I switch phones, everything works normal.
Yes,true.. rn4 works perfectly with Jio…but with Airtel and Vodafone speed of 4g is worst

If you want to make a call for 3 mins you need to call 5 times because call drops is usual thing in Airtel
Using both jio and airtel….during roaming airtel 4g is not good..most of the time you won’t get 4g inside house, however on highways you will get voice call continuous.
Jio is fine as compare with airtel as it’s network is growing.
Airtel & Voda uses mostly Band 40 (2300 mhz) and in some cases Band 3 (1800 mhz) for 4G. Jio uses Band 40, Band 3 and also RCom’s Band 5 (850 mhz). Laws of physics saw, higher the wavelength, poorer is the penetration power. So Airtel/Voda 4G re expected to work poorly indoors
Airtel is also working on VOLTE calls, maybe this is causing the problems.
There is a serious disruption in market for voice calls where all networks are facing network issues.
Best is tell your friends to call on whatsapp only so your physical network doesn’t matter.
Big Cities jio has good performance but while travelling others even bsnl is good in roaming.

In 2002, Airtel used to charge Rs.12/min for n outgoing call and Rs.10/min for an incoming call. A roaming call used to cost Rs.60/min. The entry of Mukesh Ambani through RIM (later RCom) changed it overnight. Couple of years back, Airtel used to charge Rs.400 for 1 GB 3G data. While the CDMA users have enjoyed cheaper data rates for last 7-8 years, for the general users the entry of Jio again changed the game. So yes, Mukesh Ambani is the best thing for Indian telecom users.
That said, the entry of Jio has also initiated consolidation. RCom, Tata and MTS are gone. Idea merging with Voda. Aircel trying to find a buyer. Soon, there will be only Jio, Airtel, Voda and BSNL. And then, things may not be as cheap as they are now.

Well I read all comments and found 1 person is too obbessed with Airtel. I used to pay 3000 Rs per month to get 24 GB data on Airtel and 1700 to get 10 GB data on idea. So I was spending 4700 Rs just to get 34 GB data, but now on jio anyone can calculate. So my humble request to Airtel fanboys/employee don’t bash jio. Airtel/Vodafone/idea are blood sucker vampire who will suck out even last drop of blood from people. At least they did it with me. 4700 Rs for 34 GB data, now it’s a joke.
