Many people do these kind of stuff and amazon can literally do nothing.
It’s a common scam nowadays
Sometimes delivery guys do that sometimes customer do that
Even sometime seller do that too.
Got refund
I always take unboxing videos and they helped me before. Some idiot sent me bandaids instead of what I ordered and that video is the only one that saved me. Amazon has “three strikes” thingy and I got three strikes ALL of them because of idiot delivery people who marked them delivered without delivering. Now, there is a CCTV watching my orders being delivered and opened. I had to face a loss of 8k before I wisened up.
You’re right and seller practicing these kind of activities intentionally.
