Everyone kows that “Amul & Mother Dairy are major suppliers of Milk” & Amul increased the price mainly because Mother Dairy did it so it has to follow it’s competitor any how..

PS: I purchase heritage milk
& back in 2015/2016 (Bengaluru) 500ml pack costed 16rs and now the same costs 20/21. So its happening (Price hike) from a very long time
May be it doesn’t matter to you.
There are a lot of families who can’t even afford current price of Rs 26/27 for 500 ml in delhi.

and if we go by that way also increase in prices should be still doable

a few months back i saw same thing of price hike now again ,,,
and yes i agree they give fake reason …
already vegetables prices are up , and now milk also 
till 12th dec it was marriage season in north india
prices of veggies are higher till that time
now prices in Mandis have come down by over 40%
every year is thing is repeated ( demand supply issues )
Aavin increased 6rs per litre in TN 2months back.
Nobody even cared.
That’s the problem of Indian Media they always tend to cover Major companies or we can say North & West India i.e. they ignore news from south & east India.
P.S. – I didn’t new about Aavin Co-operative Milk Producers & get to know when I googled it Today by seeing ur comment. 
I feel its better to not post things related to public issue. Few people have taken contract to blame only BJP..and they act in such way that previous govt have solve the issues in 70years… They dont no previous history…..if they know also they will hide and just comment on bjp ….. And the discussion goes some were and topic will end in such way that they cant give explanation for questions and they comment as andh bhakt.. i feel we need to stop posting public issues it just creates rift between people.
but its our job to question those in power and not defend them despite the fact whether you have voted them or not.
Guys, milk rate has to be increased to 100/ltr, otherwise, farmers will stop producing milk in next couple of years.
Some people may say that that we would import milk powder, if it is not available locally. If that happens, our future generations will suffer due to monopoly and genetically modified milk.
Also, the imported milk powder usually inferior and there are many health issues with it.
We have already seen with onions. The imported onions are not good and bacteria associated with these imports sweep our land too.
Farmers don’t have to stop it. Demand will stop it. When people won’t be able to afford it, the milk production will either stop by itself or it will be exported, either as milk or as other products prepared from milk. A big percentage can’t afford it even now, they just buy the bare minimum to keep going or only for children.
People from the upper class don’t even realise the ground reality.
I remember when I came in Navi Mumbai from Mumbai in 2001 Warana milk was RS.14 per litre

U want economy to grow by 10% but not ready to spend..
Common on people who are loosers complain about rates… Concentrate om earning and not abt prices.

People want farmers to earn good income but complain about hike in prices of grains/pulses/rice and again complain about loan waiver.
Where the hell i dont understand how everything works without loosing anything
People want low prices/hikes on general commodities
People want farmers should earn more
