I recently purchased iFFALCON (32F2A) Android TV from Flipkart. While playing movies and videos from inbuilt storage and SD card it plays smoothly within the inbuilt player but while playing through VLC Player or MX Player video starts stuttering also quality decreases.

How to solve this problem?

It seems he is talking about native player and third party ones. That storage mention is common to both.

Probably the default player has better codec support.
Changing the video decoding type might help
Also add some custom codec to MX Player, this should resolve issues related to unsupported audio formats

How to install apps i cannot install any apps

You can install them but they won’t work in most cases or have compatibility issues because it is official Android TV
Best option would be installing from playstore or finding apks intended for smart TVs or smart boxes ( You can find a lot of apks for Nvidia shield and they should work fine on your TV too as long as your TV CPU architecture matches with shield (x86 or x64).. If the APK is universal then it works on any TV or box regardless of the architecture )

Can SPMC or KODI be used? Inbuilt players would have hardware support. VLC even though it has HW for some chipsets, it rarely works. Software must be skipping frames and such. You should check for android TV specific players and not like VLC which are general purpose players. x264 playback should not be a problem but x265 1080p would require a pretty fast CPU, even 720p x265 would have trouble with low end CPU’s. Also x265 encoding can be set to use high end hardware, ie you can set it to reduce file size by letting it get frames from the future upto like 64 frames or greater which means not only does it need to decode 64 frames yet to be played to show the current frame it can also use from the already played frames. All this require not only a lot of RAM but CPU capacity.. General purpose like youtube etc use a generic low end setting so no one will have problems but people try to show off by using extreme settings to get small size and high quality etc and cause problems.

Strange
Normally inbuilt player don’t play all video formats while these 3rd party apps plays most of them with extra codecs, also as someone said SW decoder helps in some cases
