How is it? I am going today evening. Want to gain some more curiosity without any spoilers and I am fan of Jon Favreau too. Do share your views!
People are going gaga over the use of CGI and it’s a treat to watch or say even better than Disney’s Zootopia, which is an epic.

Watched yesterday & can recommend.
Beautiful jungle world, awesome cgi, superb voice over in hindi specially irrfan Khan as Ballu … Yaara da Tashan…
Adults can enjoy…
Is it good in 2D as well?
And any ongoing movie ticket booking offers for BMS? As of now Freecharge appears to be the best deal (15% off, upto 175). Looking for any further easy to avail offers.
At one point I felt Sherkhan jumping on me…
DigiBank 30% off
HSBC 1 on 1 (app only, Saturday)
Kotak 1 on 1 (pvr only, Saturday)
the only disappointment in the whole movie is that we’re not able to listen our favorite song

The story itself is presented in different form. Still wonderful, worth watch.
Watched the Hindi 3D version with my daughter. The story has been significantly altered with new characters added, original characters removed and even the climax changed. Nana Patekar sounded aged and jarred as Sher Khan. I personally felt there was need for further editing. From my daughter’s perspective “Kung Fu Panda was better” and “its not like the book”.
Used SBI Offer of 2 tickets free, so only paid the convenience charges.
Watched at Cinepolis, they are also running an offer of 20% CB with Freecharge, when paid at the counter. They have the option of blocking seats via their website and then paying at the counter, without any convenience charges.
Can anyone tell me, is a 3D movie watchable without special glasses? I have booked 5 tickets and 2 kids of age 2yrs and 2.5 yrs will be with us. So what are options to get extra pair of 3D glasses? Or can it without 3D glasses?

3D movies are watchable with naked eye to an extent only(it may cause headache and nausea). also Depends on which 3D tech theatre is employing. I wont recommend 2-3yr old kids to watch 3D- also because they get scared and cause trouble to others.

Don’t tell me that 3D movies are not appropriate for Kids …
Is it because of extreme noise or because of color effects? I have never seen a 3D movie before… Will it be watchable if kids are already used to the characters of Jungle Book? And, since I have total 5 tickets only, and we are 7 members… Is there any way in which we can get two pairs of extra glasses?

Thanks mate for suggestion. I have come to know that it can be watched only with 3D glasses… So, I will have to go to theater half an hour early, and will request for extra pairs of glasses… in case they are not available, I will buy 2 cheapest available tickets directly from ticketing window.
PS: Theater is Cinepolis. Somebody was telling about Freecharge 20% off on tickets booked at Cinepolis ticket window… Can he/she please share more details regarding how to avail this offer? how to make payment by freecharge wallet at ticketing window?
@panchabhut, can you please help me regarding how to use Freecharge at Ticketing Window?

Haven’t you answered your question already ?
Figure it out yourself if you are going early
P.S. I don’t think it would be hard, use pay merchant button, I haven;t used this online-offline system anytime though.
@JonSnow, I wont say that its inappropriate for kids, but they wont like it. They wont put on the glasses firstly, and also u wont be able to get them without tickets easily. The sound is too pure and loud for their liking. But experience it lol, they might like it.

Thanks for clarifying this and removing any apprehensions that I had before going to watch this.

I can use kotak feast gold card for 10% cashback.
Any other offer there?
Movie was good, but not great. Could have been better. The movie was short and the characters like Akela or Raksha or The Snake, weren’t developed well. They were important characters in the TV series. They could have extended 15 minutes more and given some importance on these characters.
BTW, I watched in English and it looked kinda odd.
