Best Bank for IT employees

pleasse help to decide cosidering i already use hdfc debit card and sbi debit card offers with help of friend

ICICI NEFT imps is free for salaried. But credit card will be of limit 25k.
Mine is axis, costing for NEFT imps and all..

Why doubt ..go for HDFC.. their CC, PL, and instant loans are much easily available than ICICI and others..

Never go with CITI. though CITI offers lot of benefits…in case of your job change and your new company does not have tie up with CITI then you have to either close the CITI account or have to maintain minimum of 1L/2L NRV (net relationship value with CITI).

Better go with HDFC.

Do u have the option of getting your salary credited in any bank of your choice? Most big IT companies already have tie ups with specific banks and yoh cannot get your salary in any other bank.

Personally using icici salary account from past 7 years, no charges for neft and imps

Go for BOB. Although a PSB but their recent salary account offers one of best features available in market . Features will depend on your salary slab.

I recently closed a PSU bank account in OBC . they normally do not send ATM debit card to customer home address but only to branch and there no entry in computer ,so the customer have to search his name from list of 500 other people names to see if his ATM is there with the branch . had received SMS 2 times that collect your card from your branch from OBC. I did not find my name in the list . so closed my account . for closure they do not have any form or anything , write a application of plane paper that you are going to close your account then carry that form to and fro 5 times between cash counter to officer counter . no one there to serve your needs . you should expect self service . may be its branch specific ,not complaining .just shard a recent experience.

Most of us has salary accounts in HDFC, using them for the past 15 years.. like them a lot.

do you have auto debit/EMI linkages with existing bank? if yes, changing all of them is a hassle. in that case, continue using ICICI and open a DBS Digibank account. transfer all free money to digibank at the start of the month using UPI. enjoy FD rate in savings balance and other services.

If somebody already has an account since years with the same bank and has all emis, sips etc linked to the same account, it is not an easy task to change the bank. It’s going to be a mamoth task.

IDFC Bank can be a good option. You keep a minimum balance of 25k and all the services are free I suppose including unlimited atm withdrawals, free movie tickets every month, lounge access at airports etc. Their customer service is the best I have personally encountered for any bank.

Try digiBank by DBS and convinve your HR to credit you salary three.
