Beware You cant DELETE your flipkart account

I just verified the same after calling flipkart customer care.
After the recent facebook data breach, it came to my mind if it is possible to delete amazon/flipkart account!!
for amazon its possible but for flipkart you can only deactivate.

Even Amazon doesn’t delete account. It’s deleted for your use but they keep all details intact.
I had permanently closed my account an year ago, confirmed from CC. Few days ago, I received an email that my Rs 100 pay balance was about to expire in that account.
That’s how those asol delete account.

Hmm.. Agreed, if you want anytime you may get that account reactivated (Did this 2-3 times)
This is same like we deactivate facebook account , and it automatically gets activated if logged in

You can delete Amazon or Facebook account from your end but it is never deleted from their DB. This is how all these system works.
