By the by what’s the commission to be taken by Amazon, per item sold ?

please DO NOT sell on Amazon India. the seller forum community is full of complaints from genuine sellers that their products are not being returned back.. so save your time and effort and try other medium like OLX QUIKR even

i have also gone through a fraud of amazon not returning the product and marking it as Delivered in their systems even if we file a claim its rejected on the basis that the systems show as delivered…

Dear Seller,

We are excited to launch OTP (one time password) based proof of delivery (POD) for Easy Ship return packages, including customer rejects and undeliverable orders, which are returned by Amazon logistics. Orders which are placed from September 30, 2018 are eligible for OTP-based POD. During delivery of return packages of orders from September 30, 2018, you need to authenticate the delivery by entering the OTP on the device carried by delivery associate. You can view the OTP from below sources:

• SMS sent to registered mobile number.
• Email sent to registered e-mail address.
• OTP displayed on ‘Manage Returns’ page in Seller Central.

You will also receive an e-mail with the details of packages returned through OTP. The OTP is valid for the day on which you received it and can be used for all the returns made on that particular day. Please note that OTP should not be shared with others and has to be entered by you on the device carried by Delivery Associate.

Is this same as selling on local finds?

Do we need to pay shipping and commission for selling on local finds as well?

Ive faced this issue. And no return of products once otp based verification started. Funniest thing is: costly items never return. Books, covers etc come back. Seriously wondering what is wrong here. I did inform them about this matter, they just keep accepting the claims. Even im not happy raising these claims. Their returns also is gps marked. One days(last Saturday ) i heard a tata ace come in front of our apt. Thought its some return or delivery. Never thought of going and checking what/who that was. Was supposed to get a return and on checking on monday it was showing delivered on Saturday. Im sure these people are mis using some loop hole. Now that they have started making gst mandatory, not planning to sell anymore. Cant go through all those hassles. Recently all my listings went readonly- cant change price/qty or even deactivate, was getting orders for oos items. Informed seller support, but they are still investigating since 2 months. Anyone else faced this issue?
