State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest lender, has blocked six lakh debit cards following a security breach that occurred in a non-SBI ATM network and will replace these with new ones, according to according to a report in The Times of India. The breach has happened due to a malware that can capture sensitive information that will enable committing financial frauds.

Visit ATM…. My card also met same fate… My laziness’cos I received couple of messages to change pin which I didn’t… Have to apply for fresh debit card…

Need not worry even if your card was blocked.
Even i didn’t receive sms, haven’t checked with the card yet.

As per the news, Most of the Transactions has been done in China, does this relate to something with Xiaomi Phones?
Mine card also blocked. Presently i had only that one for online and offline purchases.
